SecondfirstChristmas: this years Christmas according to our Children

This year, Zane and I were as giddy for Christmas morning as any young child. We were so pumped to have Adella be old enough to really get into the spirit... Or really into gift opening anyway! The family Christmas parties were tons of fun, and a great way to spend the holidays! At the Felix family Christmas party, Adella got the chance to see her cousins she is so far from. I was so happy that the girls took Adella right in and wanted to play with her! Grandma Felix planned a fun activity where the kids got to make little trains out of candy and gum. She also read them a story about the first Christmas!

These are all the cousins!
The Creps family Christmas party was the next night, and was just as fun! Grandma Creps even gave the kiddos gifts. The boys (Haygen and Kolton) got awesome building sets, while the girls(Anna and Adella) got fun little coloring books! Delli loved hers because it was Rapunzel, Flynn, and Max!

Christmas morning was quite a bit late getting started at our house because Adella was up most of the night being naughty... But luckily for her Santa had already left her a gift by the time she woke up at three. Santa knew just what to bring too! Adella got an arm chair with Pooh and Tigger on it, while Zack got a play-mat! There was also no shortage of fun toys, fashionable new clothes, and helpful items! Zane and I wanted Adella to open a specific gift last because we hoped she would love it! And luckily for us, she did!

We didn't get a Santa picture, but Mater will sure do (especially because Delli loves him)!

Delli helped make Santa some cookies on Christmas Eve!

She did great icing them, and then did even better eating them!

Here are our stockings!  One new one this year!

Delli's gifts (thanks everyone)!  Just looked back at last year's picture like this and noticed that Adella didn't have much hair then...

Zackurie sure got a lot more than we were planning!  Of course some of it was fun for daddy too (like the figurines)!

We spent the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa Woodcox's with the family. Adela got to see some more family she rarely gets to, and Zack was just as sleepy as always and therefore quite content to be passed around. What a great Christmas season this was! A fantastic opportunity to be with the best families! We feel so blessed and wish we had more holiday time to share with those we love! So as we head in to the New year, we hope and wish the best for everyone! Our Christmas letter will follow this post... Due to the busy season, we weren't able to send many out and just wanted to share our year with everyone!
