Moving has proven difficult for Adella- at least her new independent and negative attitude seem to point to this. Although she seems a bit out of sorts, and constantly tells us "No," we still enjoy all the time we can get! She makes everything so much more fun and enjoyable.

Pulling "Cool-Cat" faces! |
Since the house is somewhat in order at this point, I have taken to completing some of the tasks I have planned or started.
Just before we packed up and moved, we chose some fabrics for our little Man's blanket and I had started the project (my personal goal is to make a blanket for each of our kids). I have been so excited to finish it, so I started as soon as I could get to it. In no time I had it finished... with the exception of a wash to fray the edges.

The blanket has an orange back, cute animals, green polka-dots, and blue diamonds! |

So here is pregnant me, holding the blanket (I have a similar one holding Adella's blanket). |
Adella's first birthday dress was pretty much ruined because I bought nice fabric for a little one who liked to drink milk and share with her clothes. So I unstitched the top and bottom and turned it into a skirt. Some of the fabric is still ruined but is unnoticeable because of the top layer. So, with my new surger, I fixed it up and had her all ready for church in a new outfit withing an hour.

Our pretty girl who walked around all day saying, "Cute!" |
I also wanted to just make a comment about some cross stitch project I finished this year. I started working on this when I lived in California... that was around ten or eleven years ago.
We are also getting ready for our little man to come! The crib is set up and dressed (since Adella is in her toddler bed). We also bought a cute little outfit so we'd have at least one!
