Valentine Boxes: Mom and Dad's artistry

Because I had the Valentine's Day preschool class, I had though a lot about what we were going to do and wanted to make sure we all had fun.  So, the kids and I made Valentines to share and then, after making sure everything was prepared for class, Zane and I made boxes in the late hours of the night before.  Then when everyone showed up for class, I think only one other of the students brought a mailbox, and ours were not used this year.  We are certainly proud of our work though!

Box: A toy

Zane is definitely the best at playing with the kids.  He is goofy and helps them enjoy whatever they are doing!

 

Sochi Olympics: The olympics Zane interpreted

Zane loves the Olympic in particular - so to help instill the spirit of the games in our children, I grabbed a few medals and we had an "Opening Night Celebration" of our own.  I quickly discovered Zane interpreted well and our children were not at all interested in what was going on.  Still we had a blast.

These next pictures are heartbreaking.  Look at this little sleep, sick, babe. Peyton had many ear infections and illnesses which led up to him getting tubes in his ears. 

See how sad!  He still has the habit of grabbing at his poor ears even though he is very much improved.

I tried out bangs on my beauty.  She loves them, and I think they look great on her face.  That being said, I refuse to take care of them like this constantly and will let her decide when and if she wants them when she is older.

 

Trio: The number of children banging on the ivories

Since Peyton has learned to pull himself up, and discovered the noisy quality of the piano, I have had a trio serenading me with their... who I am kidding!?!  This is not music - not even close!  But when I  place the miracle keyboard on a low volume, it becomes a peacekeeper among the children (and I need that sometimes).

 

Aren't they the sweetest?  I love watching them be such sweet babes together!

Christmas Day: The day of Giving (and for the kids - a lot of getting)

Getting the kids downstairs for Christmas was easy, but they waited well while dad made sure the camera was ready (video).  Both of them were so excited to see that Santa had eaten his cookies and drank the eggnog.  They were also excited to see what he brought.  Zack reacted quickly, when he saw his castle he called it out and ran to it.  Adella was a bit more reserved, but she was so excited to see that the big guy brought her the exact Toddler Cinderella Doll she wanted.
